Responsibilities Deliver well-structured Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum Adapt teaching approaches to support students with varying abilities and learning needs Track student performance and provide feedback to encourage improvement Establish clear expectations for behaviour and engagement within lessons Support students preparing for assessments and GCSE examinations Work collaboratively with department staff to maintain consistency in teaching and learning Communicate progress updates with relevant school staff and parents where required Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Previous experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching across Key Stages Effective classroom management skills Ability to engage and motivate learners with different learning styles Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare This is a rewarding opportunity for a Maths Teacher who wants to make a tangible impact within a supportive school community.
