A day in the life of a Murphy Managing Quantity Surveyor Efficiently manage all commercial aspects of the Project and maintain regular liaison with all stakeholders. Assist in building a team, manage the development of personal plans, establishment of objectives/targets for all direct reports and monitor on an ongoing basis - maintain performance. Collate, analysis & challenge Cost/Value Reports and forecasts as required, implement required actions. Negotiating terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers that apportion risk to those best placed to manage that risk and deliver best value to the project and the Client Design and implement a commercial strategy for their portfolio and tenders with the assistance of their functional manager.
