Your role with us Our Information and Digital Directorate is responsible for delivering the Foreign Secretary's ambition to make the FCDO the most technologically integrated and innovative foreign ministry in the world. This will involve harnessing digital, data, technology, IT security and information management as we deliver our diplomatic, development and consular aims, all while keeping our people and information safe, especially from hostile actors. We'll expect you to have worked with optimal technical designs through an iterative process, and with the design and review processes for new solutions and services, and you should also be capable of presenting recommendations for improvements to technologies or systems. A committed champion of the development of technical architectural practice, you'll be capable of ensuring a consistent strategy across cyber, cloud, data centre, storage, network, mobile and the user experience of infrastructure. And as you'll be coaching and mentoring other members of the architectural community and engaging with development opportunities across government, you'll possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must be a British citizen at the time of your application, and you'll be required to attain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. Our client is seeking an experienced Security Architect to join one of our key public sector client engagements. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic design of secure, cloud-based platforms supporting critical national infrastructure. As a Security Architect, you will play a central role in capability mapping, architectural design, and implementation of cloud-native security solutions.
