Job Title: Gas Engineer We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their service and maintenance team working on commercial sites across the Midlands. Purpose of the Job The role will require you to service and repair all types of heating equipment, including but not limited to gas fired unit heaters, air handling units and gas fired boilers. Call outs will be a part of your daily duties, therefore good experience and knowledge of gas fired heating equipment will be essential. You will need to be able work under your own initiative to resolve all manner of faults and issues quickly and accurately. Minor plumbing works will form part of the job description at times (egg repair leaks and pipework modifications for boiler changes and or heater alterations etc). Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventative maintenance. Responding to breakdowns and call outs Fault finding on the full spectrum of HVAC units. Carry out small works installations (including but not limited to water heater installation/boiler swaps etc.) Providing accurate and timely job report and service sheets Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times. Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning. Skills and Experience Fully qualified commercial Gas engineer with current ACS Certificates. COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety ICPN1 Installation First Fix on Commercial Pipework CIGA1 Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances BMP1 Gas Boosters CORT1 Overhead Radiant Tube & Radiant Plaque Heaters TPCP1a Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of Pipework not exceeding 1m in volume. Hot Water Systems and Safety Course (Vented & Unvented Hot Water Course) 5-10 Years Experience in a similar Role Experience on working on large commercial boilers Experience on work on Direct fired AHU s Ability to communicate at all levels Organised and disciplined approach to work giving careful attention to detail Computer literate Word, Excel
