Experience working through the full project lifecycle. Strong understanding of design management, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover. Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects to time, cost and quality requirements. Degree in Engineering, or equivalent, within a relevant discipline. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Strong knowledge of BS, EN, AISC, ASTM, ASME and other relevant engineering codes and standards. Experience working to EN and ASME Codes, particularly relating to vessels and piping. Sound understanding of engineering mechanics and static/dynamic structural behaviour. Experience producing, reviewing and approving engineering calculations, specifications and technical reports. Experience developing and maintaining engineering procedures, standards and systems. Strong customer-facing experience, including technical support, issue resolution and stakeholder management. Broad technical knowledge of mechanical equipment, technologies and engineering principles. Proficiency in structural engineering software, including STAAD.Pro. Experience using SolidWorks Simulation or equivalent FEA software for modelling and analysis. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Logical and methodical approach to work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to influence, motivate and inspire engineering teams to achieve outstanding results. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE Wastewater industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
