Key Responsibilities Lead or support the delivery of multiple, concurrent tax technology projects Provide hands-on configuration, guidance, and support across implementation teams Help clients build global governance models and process frameworks Manage and mentor junior team members across internal and external engagements Develop new service offerings and optimise delivery approaches Stay ahead of emerging tax technology trends and market developments Build and strengthen client relationships at all levels Support proposal development, identify new opportunities, and shape client solutions Translate regulatory and business requirements into functional system designs Contribute across the full project life cycle: design, build, test, deploy, and support Collaborate closely with tax, finance, data, and technology teams on global rollouts Qualifications & Experience You will ideally bring: 5+ years' recent experience with indirect taxes (VAT, GST, US Sales & Use Tax) 5+ years' hands-on experience with tax technologies (Vertex, OneSource, Avalara, etc.) Experience directly configuring ERP or tax systems (SAP, Oracle, D365, Vertex, OneSource) Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management skills Experience working with Fortune 500-scale organisations Prior project leadership within major technology or transformation programmes Knowledge of indirect tax supply chain scenarios and VAT implications Experience with data, analytics, and automation tools (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) Strong background in ERP (D365 Finance & Operations, SAP or Workday Financials) Exposure to finance, invoicing, compliance, or tax-related processes Consultancy or professional services experience Deep tax technical expertise is not essential - what matters is your ability to understand tax-process challenges and help design the right technology solution.
