This role will immerse you in a diverse and inspiring portfolio of programmes, particularly in Kenya and Tanzania where you will work closely with international colleagues to develop and strengthen MEL frameworks, ensure robust data collection and analysis, and support high-quality donor reporting. This role will play a key role in working on a large portfolio with one of Hand in Hand's key strategic donors across several large projects in Kenya and Tanzania. You will also contribute to evaluation design, manage relationships with external evaluators, lead internal research projects, and distil findings into meaningful insights that improve the organisation's work. With opportunities to travel internationally, collaborate across teams, and contribute to strategic MEL initiatives, this role places you at the heart of how Hand in Hand learns, innovates and maximises its global impact. We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven professional with significant experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning within the international development sector. You will bring confidence in both quantitative and qualitative methods (including impact evaluation), strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to develop MEL plans, logic models, data collection tools, and clear, insightful reporting. Experience working on large, complex programmes for large institutional donors, foundations or corporates, such as FCDO, GIZ or the Gates Foundation, will be invaluable, as will familiarity with mobile data collection platforms and a solid command of Excel. Equally important is to be a collaborative communicator with a positive, solutions-focused approach, able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, curiosity and a commitment to continual learning. The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager sits within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation. You will play a central role in building the evidence base on what works to support young people into good jobs. Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works. You will work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates, assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations. You will manage a portfolio of projects, leading some directly, and overseeing others while supporting more junior colleagues. You will also contribute to strengthening our 'evaluation architecture', leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector. This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home. The Role We re now looking for a Field Product Demonstrator / Technical Evaluator to join our growing team, covering the South East of England. This is a role with real impact. Every day, you ll work directly with customers in their homes, at dealerships, or in mobility stores to understand their unique needs and demonstrate how our products can transform their independence. What you ll do: • Visit customers to assess their requirements and recommend the best solution. • Demonstrate the benefits of our vehicle adaptations clearly and confidently. • Deliver excellent customer care with empathy and understanding. • Maintain accurate paperwork and records. • Attend shows and exhibitions when needed. • Learn and develop a strong technical knowledge of our products (full training provided). What we re looking for: • A technical mindset able to learn and understand product functionality. • Strong communication and people skills able to build confidence and trust. • Empathy and a customer-first approach. • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. • IT literate, with a full UK driving licence. • Previous experience in mobility solutions, installations, or technical demonstrations would be an advantage, but not essential.
