Fulham based Nursery Cook, Job Reference: PK62950

This is a full time, permanent Chef position working up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and with a week off over Christmas and New Year. They can offer flexibility with shift times, but core hours between 8:30am-5:30pm. This comes with a starting salary of 27,500 per annum working in an extremely rewarding setting, and the Nursery is easily accessible from both Fulham and Hammersmith.

As the Cook within the Nursery your main duties will be to provide meals and snacks for the children to agreed schedules, to be responsible for food stock levels and to keep the Kitchen clean and tidy whilst operating to the relevant statutory guidelines and principles. The Nursery caters for up to 35 children, and from September will have 36 to 38 children each day.

Nursery Cook candidates will ideally possess a Food Hygiene Certificate and previous Nursery or similar environment experience would be beneficial but not essential. Nursery Cook Main Duties:

• Responsibility for the catering services within the Nursery
• Prepare daily food, paying particular attention to any special dietary requirements
• Have a full understanding of Health & Safety as well as Food Hygiene issues, COSHH, and working within the guidelines relating to cross infection
