MCG Recruitment are pleased to be assisting our clients find a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support their Head Chef in delivering exceptional food.
What You ll Be Doing
  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including operations, quality, and administrative tasks
  • Oversee food provision to F&B outlets and ensure compliance with legislation
  • Contribute to menu creation, incorporating guest feedback
  • Ensure consistent production of high-quality dishes
  • Handle customer relations in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Organize working rotations to meet business needs efficiently
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade, ensuring a well-organized and effective team
  • Control costs while maintaining standards, improving gross profit margins and meeting departmental targets
  • Assist other departments as required and foster good working relationships
  • Promote environmentally conscious practices in the kitchen
What We re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
  • Passion for producing high-quality food
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and multitasking skills
  • Strong supervisory and team management abilities
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills and adaptability to work solo or in teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
