About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety Officer to manage and enhance our Safety Management System (SMS), drive compliance, and lead safety culture across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage safety reports, investigations, and regulatory submissions.
• Analyse safety data to identify trends, risks, and preventative actions.
• Author and maintain safety procedures and documentation.
• Lead internal investigations of maintenance and operational occurrences.
• Liaise with external regulators and internal departments.
• Plan and lead safety initiatives and company projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in aviation safety or engineering.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (CAA/MAA).
• Experience managing SMS/QMS systems.
• Engineering-related education or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong IT skills for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

• HNC or equivalent industry experience/apprenticeship.
• GCSEs in English and Mathematics.
• Aviation safety training or accident investigation qualification desirable.
