About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety Officer to manage and enhance our Safety Management System (SMS), drive compliance, and lead safety culture across the organisation.
Responsibilities: - Manage safety reports, investigations, and regulatory submissions.
- Analyse safety data to identify trends, risks, and preventative actions.
- Author and maintain safety procedures and documentation.
- Lead internal investigations of maintenance and operational occurrences.
- Liaise with external regulators and internal departments.
- Plan and lead safety initiatives and company projects.
Requirements: - Proven experience in aviation safety or engineering.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (CAA/MAA).
- Experience managing SMS/QMS systems.
- Engineering-related education or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong IT skills for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications: - HNC or equivalent industry experience/apprenticeship.
- GCSEs in English and Mathematics.
- Aviation safety training or accident investigation qualification desirable.
