We are currently looking for an experience DevOps engineer who holds current SC clearance to work for a client of ours in the defence sector. They are looking for someone to maintain and support applications on their clients platform within a secure, air-gapped environment across both Windows and Linux systems. With a good Scripting knowledge in Bash, SQL and automation to support and streamline deployment activities you will need a working knowledge of Docker and work towards leveraging Ansible to automate and accelerate deployments. Working closely with the clients cross functional teams including architecture, testing and data migration and support the more junior DevOps resource. Please note this is an urgent requirement with a start in the next 2 weeks and you must be a sole British citizen with current valid SC clearance. You will be hybrid with travel to either Bristol or Corsham or across both on a regular basis. This contract will be outside IR35.
