Job Advert: Fire & Security Administration Assistant Location: Upminster Essex Job Type: Full-time - Hours can be negotiable Salary: 30,000.00 PA About the Role Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Fire & Security Administration Assistant to join their growing team. This is a varied administrative role supporting the day-to-day operations of our fire and security business, ensuring engineers, customers, and office processes run efficiently. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally. Schedule engineer appointments and manage daily work diaries. Prepare quotations, invoices, and other customer documentation. Maintain accurate customer records and job files. Process service reports and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and engineers regarding appointments and ongoing work. Order equipment and manage stock administration where required. Assist with compliance documentation and certification. General office administration duties. About You The ideal candidate will have: Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). High attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous administration experience (essential). Experience within the fire and security, construction, or engineering industry (preferred but not essential). Must have Drivers License due to location What We Offer Competitive salary.
