Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a racking installation project with associated conveyor works. As we will be acting as the Principal Contractor (PC), the successful candidate must have proven experience managing sites in a Principal Contractor capacity, with strong knowledge of health & safety, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations for racking and conveyor installation works.

  • Act as the Principal Contractor Site Manager, ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations.

  • Manage site inductions, RAMS, permits, daily briefings, and reporting.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, deliveries, and work schedules.

  • Monitor site progress, quality, and safety standards.

  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Required Certifications & Competencies

  • Black CSCS card (essential)

  • SMSTS (essential)

  • First Aid at Work (essential)

  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of racking installations and conveyor systems

  • Experience working as a PC Site Manager on industrial, warehouse, or logistics projects

Ideal Candidate
