Taskmaster is proud to support schools and care homes in the Leeds / Greater Leeds area, and we're excited to offer opportunities for dedicated Chefs / Cooks or CDPs to join our team on an ongoing temporary basis. Taskmaster is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
A DBS will be required, and having one on the update service would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation meets quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory and food production schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Create and update menu items, utilizing seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

What's involved?
As a Relief Chef representing Taskmaster, we expect you to maintain a professional demeanour, demonstrate excellent punctuality, and exhibit a strong work ethic. All relief chefs must have up-to-date food hygiene and allergy certificates, we can support you with the application of these certificates, along with 3 years references, before we can assign you to work.
