Key Responsibilities of the Senior/Associate Building Surveyor:
- Delivering professional and technical advice to clients across both the private and public sectors
- Managing and coordinating building surveys, dilapidations, party wall matters, and project management
- Developing and maintaining client relationships while also identifying new business opportunities
- Attending site inspections and providing technical reports
- Taking an active role in business development, including attending client meetings, networking events, and social occasions
- Supporting junior team members and helping to develop the broader surveying team
Requirements of the Senior/Associate Building Surveyor
- MRICS qualification with proven experience in building surveying
- A well-rounded skill set, ideally with experience in both private and professional building surveying work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, client-focused attitude
- A strong desire to grow your professional network, with the ambition to play a key role in the business development process
- A full UK driving licence as travel throughout the country will be required
