About the Client:
Our client is a long-established building services business delivering top-tier heating and communal system solutions across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Commercial Pipework Fitter & Breakdown Engineer to join their expanding team.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Install and repair commercial heating pipework and components on communal systems
- Attend breakdowns and conduct fault-finding on various heating systems
- Install and repair domestic heating pipework and equipment, including:
- Thermostatic radiator valves
- Pumps and cylinders
- Radiators
- HIUs and associated components
- Diagnose system faults and recommend solutions
- Maintain accurate job records using internal systems
- Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks)
Qualifications
- Experience with commercial and domestic heating systems (installations, maintenance, breakdowns)
- HVAC/pipework background with strong practical knowledge
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
- Understanding of residential and commercial communal systems
- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel across the region
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Resides within commutable distance of Wandsworth
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
