Job Description

Our client are looking for an enthusiastic and certified Health and Safety professional to spearhead the development of their safety framework across two production facilities. This role offers an exceptional chance to create meaningful impact by establishing a new function and partnering directly with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and roll out comprehensive health and safety protocols for dual manufacturing locations
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance with applicable safety legislation and industry standards
  • Perform hazard evaluations, site reviews, and safety inspections with actionable recommendations
  • Oversee accident analysis and establish prevention strategies
  • Work alongside production personnel to embed safety principles into everyday activities
  • Champion a workplace culture focused on safety excellence, environmental responsibility, and ongoing enhancement
  • Deliver training programmes and guidance to employees on safe working practices
  • Support projects centred on eco-friendly production methods and circular economy initiatives

Essential Criteria

  • IOSH certification required (such as Managing Safely or comparable qualification)
  • Demonstrated background in health and safety, preferably within production or industrial settings
  • Solid grasp of British health and safety regulatory framework
  • Background or enthusiasm for environmentally conscious manufacturing and waste reduction practices strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership capabilities
  • Adaptable mindset with willingness to embrace innovative thinking and fresh perspectives
