My Client leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Release Management Lead to oversee planning, coordination, and governance of software and infrastructure releases across enterprise platforms.
Release Management Lead - Financial Services
Location: London Contract: Inside IR35 Rate: 739/day
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the enterprise release calendar.
- Plan and execute major, minor, and emergency releases.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
- Ensure rollback plans and communication strategies for critical releases.
- Lead release bridges and out-of-hours deployments.
- Manage post-release issue tracking and remediation.
Required Skills:
- Extensive release management experience in financial services.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, change governance, and regulatory standards (DORA, SOX, GDPR).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow), CI/CD pipelines, and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe).
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
