Employee Relations Manager

Fixed-Term Contract Until January 2027
£47,000 per annum Full Time Remote with Travel
Head Office: York

Morson are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable national organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Manager on a fixed-term contract until January 2027.

We re seeking an experienced ER professional who is confident leading complex employee relations matters and providing expert guidance across a wide range of cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive people team and make a real impact across a multi-site organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the UK-wide employee relations agenda across multiple locations

  • Manage a high-volume caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability matters and tribunal activity

  • Line-manage and support the development of an ER Advisor, acting as the escalation point for complex cases

  • Deliver key ER projects including policy development and national training programmes

  • Build strong relationships with operational and senior stakeholders, attending key meetings when required

  • Provide ER reporting, insights and MI to inform business decisions

  • Coach and support managers on employee relations best practice

About You
  • Proven experience managing a wide range of ER cases end-to-end

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

  • Confident stakeholder manager with exceptional communication skills

  • Experience coaching and developing managers and team members

  • Able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Working Arrangements

This role offers flexible remote working, with the expectation to travel for key meetings, training delivery and site visits when required. The organisation s head office is based in York.
