Senior Estimator Permanent Location: Work from home with occasional visit to Devon office Salary: Circa £80,000 + Package Key Responsibilities Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for marine infrastructure projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors. Analyse project plans, specifications, and risks to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and bid teams to align estimates with project feasibility and programmes. Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, review quotations, and conduct site visits. Support the Head of Estimating in mentoring the team and promoting cross-team collaboration. Implement best practices and AI tools to improve estimating processes and efficiency. Provide input on project feasibility, value engineering, and strategic pricing for senior leadership. Qualifications & Experience Required Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar (preferred), or equivalent experience. 5+ years senior estimating experience within marine infrastructure or heavy civil projects. Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, materials, and environmental factors. Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
