Description:We are seeking an apprentice trained Multi-disciplined Technician with a strong electrical bias to be responsible for all day to day maintenance activities at one of our customer locations in Leeds. The scope of your activities will consist of maintenance to boilers, refrigeration equipment, air handling systems, compressed air systems etc and all the auxiliary and ancillary plant used to support the continued successful delivery of our services to the customer. What you'll be doing:? Diagnosing and repairing faults on an extensive range of electrical/ mechanical equipment? Carry out Root Cause Analysis and play an active role in investigating recurring faults and engineering solutions.? Carrying out Planned preventative & reactive maintenance.? Identification and purchase of essential maintenance spares? Preparing procedures and risk assessment for maintenance tasks.? Planning and carrying out improvement projects? Supervision of maintenance sub-contractors? Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management.? A time served mechanical or electrical technician with proven experience in maintenance on a utilities plant or similar heavy industrial environment? Detailed knowledge of plant and maintenance systems and their functionality, especially computer based.? Appropriate IT skills (confident use of Google,CMMS, email etc.)? Experienced in carrying out mechanical/ electrical maintenance in a industrial process environment such as waste to energy, power station, chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical or marine engineering? Knowledge of electrical systems & controls? Able to provide technical advice to other members? Able to supervise maintenance contractors when needed?
