As a Product Safety Engineer, you will assist System Engineers in influencing submarine systems and capability development. You will develop an understanding of how submarine systems work and work together and ensure that the system of system interactions considers Product Safety appropriately. The role will provide the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of safety management and safety case delivery. This includes safety requirements capture and management , hazard identification and analysis , hazard data management , application of the ALARP principle , creation/maintenance of safety documentation and continuous improvement of the safety management system.
