Proactive support of a continuous improvement culture that develops factory assets, procedures, processes and systems. Comply with planned maintenance / calibration regimes, ensure work is completed and recorded in a timely manner within the CMMS. Ensure effective communications with stakeholders regarding equipment status, during breakdown support and any engineering requirements within Operational areas. Comply with site Health Safety and Environmental procedures and standards; ensure safe working conditions are maintained. The Person: Will hold a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, NVQ 3, ONC/HNC equivalent or have sufficient experience working as a Main Technician/ Eng in a similar setting Experience working as a Maintenance Technician and/or Engineer in a Pharmaceutical, Chemical, FMCG, Food setting is essential. The ideal candidate will hold additional electrical qualifications (17th/ 18th edition etc) Strong fault finding and problem solving skills (electrical with some mechanical). Proficient in IT / Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc). Good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills needed. Good team player and able to work independently when needed.
