Platform Engineer

Have you built private cloud infrastructure from scratch and looking for a new challenge?

Our client, a leading Investment Bank, is looking for a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team that supports algorithmic trading capabilities.

This is a role with a wide range of responsibilities, in a small, collaborative environment, where you will:

• Design, deploy, and manage K8s clusters across various datacentres, ensuring the availability, reliability, observability, and security of the environment
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and trading teams to optimise platform performance

Candidates should have:

• Strong foundation in Unix infrastructure
• Demonstrable experience in Kubernetes administration and best-practices.
• Accustomed to DevOps approach and working in an environment protected by PAM.

This is an engineering position where you will build and scale Unix infrastructure from Servers to K8s, not an admin role.
