You will play a key role in leading mechanical design solutions for a variety of complex defence products, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams. This role also offers strong potential for future career development and progression. What we're looking for Qualification to Degree/HND/HNC level in a relevant discipline, along with substantial mechanical design experience Proven ability to lead design work packages and operate effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams Understanding of qualification, verification and compliance activities Experience with industry-standard design practices such as DFMEA, DFA and DFM Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation Background in supplier engagement and collaboration with external and internal engineering partners Cultural awareness and adaptability when working with diverse teams Some knowledge of structural, thermal or dynamic analysis is desirable Hands-on experience with 3D CAD and CAE tools (training available for specific software) Modis International Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers in the UK.
