As a Classroom Support Assistant, you ll be working in specialist schools and provisions, offering practical support to pupils and staff. Your day-to-day work may include:
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access learning in a way that works for them
Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and resources
Helping with personal care and daily routines when needed
Stepping into different classes and age groups, building positive relationships along the way
No two days look the same, and the role offers plenty of chances to make a real difference.
Who We re Looking ForWe d love to hear from you if you:
Are patient, caring and adaptable
Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
Have experience supporting children or young people (formal or informal)
Are comfortable helping with personal care when required
Can drive to different North Bristol schools
Have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
Previous experience as a Classroom Support Assistant or in an SEN setting is helpful but not essential. We provide full training and ongoing support.
