The company provides professional tree surgery and vegetation management services across utilities, highways, commercial, and public sector contracts - including work with local authorities, housing associations, schools, and private clients. This role will suit a confident and qualified arborist who enjoys leading by example, maintaining high standards in safety, compliance, and team performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and support arboricultural teams on site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of work. Undertake advanced climbing operations and technical arboricultural tasks. Organise daily tasks, conduct site briefings, and maintain safety documentation. Liaise with supervisors and clients to ensure work meets agreed specifications. Mentor junior team members and promote a positive, professional site culture. Essential Requirements Demonstrable experience in arboriculture, including climbing and utility-based work. Strong leadership and communication skills. Full UK driving licence. SSSTS qualification. CS30/31 (chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting, and felling). UA1 (Basic Electrical Knowledge and Awareness) with relevant UA2 units. Proven history of working safely near overhead or underground utilities. Desirable Qualifications CS38/39 or equivalent climbing accreditations. MEWP certification. Emergency First Aid at Work (plus Forestry). Chapter 8 Signing, Lighting, and Guarding.
