The role will include office-based tour administration, and the opportunity to travel on research trips and tours as you progress. The Trustee role The Board of Trustees provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Centre as it seeks to fulfil its charitable objects, ensuring it operates in accordance with its governing document and meets its legal and regulatory requirements. The Board of Trustees meets six times a year (January, April, June, July (full day), September and November) and are online aside from the full day meeting which is normally in person. Additional work on specialist working groups or committees is also undertaken, depending on Trustees' personal interests, experience and availability. The Candidate Ideally you will have a strong track record of selling B2B media solutions from any sector (ie. newspaper, digital, magazines, events, exhibitions etc) You will require a natural interest in the business sector. Entrepreneurial spirit required for a growing and ambitious business. You will have a consultative approach to solution selling and a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments. Creativity, drive, motivation, and passion to develop new business opportunities in a competitive market. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels. You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop long term relationships.
