Take responsibility for the opening and closing of the site facilities. Management of site facilities; welfare, toilets, offices, compound area etc. Management of site housekeeping, discipline, behaviour etc Safe storage and co-ordination of materials and monitoring of waste Take responsibility for the accurate / timely completion of site-based documentation. Attendance at project and company related meetings, compile site reports as necessary. Mentor and train Assistant Site Manager and junior members of staff Comply with all the roles and responsibilities as set out within the SHEQ management system. Upon completion of works leave all work areas cleared of building rubbish and reinstate gardens and footpaths, etc in accordance with contract requirements. Monitoring use of PPE in accordance with the hierarchy of risk control To complete time sheets for all Operatives on your site - and to return the complete time sheets and overtime request forms to the Contracts Manager by the end of every week. Attend all mandatory training courses related to your role. Take responsibility for the safety of yourself and others - deliver toolbox talks and embed a culture of zero harm. Liaise with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office, local authority representatives ensuring any client and public complaints are resolved efficiently. Be aware at all times of possible commercial opportunities. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
