You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of water-related construction activities within a highly regulated airport environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors on HVAC packages Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications. Oversee excavation, pipe laying, water main installation, drainage, and associated civil works. Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations. Liaise with engineers, site management, and client representatives to resolve issues on site. Role Site Engineer Reporting to Section Engineer / Senior Engineer Location: Copthall Tunnel North (UB9 6JL) Key Responsibilities • Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently. • Setting up work sites with General Foreman/ Works manager • Setting out various aspects of the works using GPS and Total Station • Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment, Method Statements, Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Consents for the works and that these are implemented. • Effective recording of site works and delays using site diaries. • Ensuring Permit to Dig, Temporary Works and other safety systems are implemented • Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods of work. • Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures. • Raising Non-Conformance Reports, Field Change Designs and Technical Queries. • Provide support, assistance, and information to other teams as necessary such as Community Relations, 3rd Parties and Logistics.
