The Opportunity Reporting to the Commercial Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing a strong sales pipeline and winning high-value regional and national customers across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across restaurants, casual dining, QSR, food-to-go, education, healthcare, manufacturing, leisure and other commercial sectors. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve ambitious sales targets. Generate leads through networking, referrals, market intelligence and proactive prospecting. Build relationships with Procurement Directors, Commercial Directors, Operations Directors, Buying Teams and senior decision-makers. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation, contract award and implementation. Produce compelling commercial proposals, presentations and tenders. Develop Joint Business Plans with newly acquired customers. Maximise opportunities to grow newly won accounts. Deliver accurate forecasting, CRM updates and pipeline reporting. Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Monitor competitor activity and identify emerging market opportunities. Represent the business at customer meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions. About You You'll be a commercially driven sales professional with a genuine passion for winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships. You'll likely have experience as a: Senior Business Development Manager Business Development Manager National Account Manager Key Account Manager Commercial Manager Strategic Account Manager Experience within one or more of the following sectors would be highly advantageous: Foodservice Food Distribution Fresh Produce Food Manufacturing FMCG Wholesale Hospitality Contract Catering Education Healthcare Manufacturing Food to Go Casual Dining Restaurants QSR You'll also have: A proven track record of winning new business within foodservice, food manufacturing, food distribution, wholesale or FMCG.
