Looking for a experienced Punch Press Operator to join their expanding fabrication team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating TRUMPF punch press machines and be confident working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate and monitor TRUMPF punch press machinery
Work from engineering drawings and production specifications
Carry out quality checks on punched components to ensure accuracy
Adjust tooling and machine settings to maintain efficient production
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
Maintain accurate production records and follow workshop procedures
Work safely and cooperate effectively with the wider fabrication team
Requirements:
Proven experience operating TRUMPF punch press machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong mechanical understanding and good attention to detail
Confident working to tight tolerances
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Experience in a fabrication or sheet-metal environment is highly desirable
