Busy machine shop located in Brownhills in the West Midlands. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team. You will have a broad electrical and mechanical knowledge. You will be happy working in both a proactive and reactive role managing your time to achieve best results for the company. Essential experience for the Maintenance Technician role Understanding of Fanuc, Siemens CNC control systems including 5 Axis milling machines and twin turret lathes. Competent at reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic and other technical documents to research machine issues. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems: Experience with low voltage control and feedback systems. Worked with DC drives Experience with replacing machine linear guides and ball screws. Perform machine levelling and alignment. Desirable experience : Apprentice trained and qualified with at least three years' experience in performing maintenance on CNC machine tools. Experience of horizontal twin spindle, twin pallet milling machines Working with Siemens Simatic HMI. Forklift truck licence Details of the role: 45k to 50k per annum - depending on experience - plus overtime available Days Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - flexible on working hours Working within the engineering team Based in Brownhills
