This is a varied and rewarding role providing essential administrative and secretarial support to Solicitors, ensuring the smooth running of client matters such as Wills, LPAs, probate and estate administration. You will work closely with fee earners while delivering a high standard of client care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Provide full secretarial support, including arranging appointments, handling client enquiries, and preparing correspondence and legal documents through audio typing. Manage filing and administrative tasks, including opening, closing and maintaining client files. Coordinate diaries, schedule appointments and prepare reminders or reports as required. Assist fee earners during client visits, including Will signings. Handle document retrieval and retention, ensuring accurate records and liaising with the Records Management team. Photocopy and prepare certified or complex documents such as LPAs and Wills. Support reception when required, greeting visitors, managing calls and handling incoming and outgoing post. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all internal administrative and procedural obligations. About You: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client work. Excellent communication skills and a professional, confident manner. Strong organisational ability with exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in audio typing and document preparation. Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
