THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT: Preparing monthly management accounts including the profit and loss, balance sheets. Assisting with the preparation of budgets. Managing the external accountants and the bookkeeping function. Submitting the VAT returns. Producing the financial statements for FC approval. Supporting the Financial Controller with the annual audit process. Assisting with the cash flows, cash allocations and movement of cash between holding companies. THE PERSON REQUIREMENTS OF THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT: At least 2 years' experience of working as a Management Accountant either in practice or with the property sector. MUST be ACCA or CIMA qualified, depending on experience may consider QBE. Understanding of UK accounting standards. Strong Excel skills are essential. A good, stable role for someone looking for a part-time role (3/4 days) and be willing to work in the office.
