General Haulage (Tramping) This role and salary is based on staying out Monday - Friday, starting monday morning and returning friday evening, which could be late - please take this into consideration with family circumstances and personal lifesyle etc. before applying. £41,200 basic (rising to £43,000 after completing a three month probationary period, bonuses are weekend overtime are in addition to this salary based on tramping, this includes night out pay built in _based on 60 hours shift time per week, however drivers generally have long breaks between jobs. 1 hour break time per day is not included but any breaks on top of this are paid at the full rate included in the salary. General Haulage (Tramping) This role and salary is based on staying out Monday - Friday, starting monday morning and returning friday evening, which could be late - please take this into consideration with family circumstances and personal lifesyle etc. before applying. £41,200 basic (rising to £43,000 after completing a three month probationary period, bonuses are weekend overtime are in addition to this salary based on tramping, this includes night out pay built in _based on 60 hours shift time per week, however drivers generally have long breaks between jobs. 1 hour break time per day is not included but any breaks on top of this are paid at the full rate included in the salary. Finish times are dependant on traffic and where the jobs finish in the country, we cannot guarantee actual finish times. _ We invite applicants to join us on a three month probationary period, after this period has passed salary will rise, this will be discussed upon interview. Hours: Typically starting 06:00-08:00am during the week days but hours will fluxuate We are looking for an enthusiastic class 2 lorry driver, with a passion for driving. The job will entail 1-3 jobs per day, collecting and delivering around the south of the UK. This will include pallet deliveries on tail lifts, however most of the goods we carry will be on curtainsiders and will be fork lifted on and off. This role will also include hand balling and assiting in loading and off loading from time to time. We also work closley with amazon therefore any previous amazon relay delivery experience is an advantage to applicants but not compulsory as a full training programme is provided. Applicants must be punctual, timing is crucial in the industry. They must also be courteous and polite as they will be the face of the company when representing us. This role will entail long hours, please take this into consideration before applying Applicants must be able to offload via tail lifts, but most of the time goods will be forklifted on and off of the curtain, applicants must also be able to handball where required. We operate flatbed, curtainsider and boxes therefore drivers must be comptentant in load securing for these types of vehicle. Must have the following: Driver CPC Qualification Card Right to work in the United Kingdom Full UK Licence with Category C entitlement with no more than 6 points (_must have Driver CPC, if applicants do not have this please advise as training can be arranged subject to criteria_) Must have knowledge of EU Driving Rules Must be able to use a smart phone confidently, we can provide one or you can use your own if preferred. Must be able to communicate in fluent English language. Must have experience in strapping and securing loads safely. Minimum of 2 years experience in driving CAT C vehicles. Previous amazon experience is an advantage but not compulsory. Must be able to safely handball goods and provide a good use of manual handling for some contracts we operate.
