HGV Class 2 Driver - Widnes, Cheshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, with room for growth and progression.

Shifts
• Monday - Friday
• Start times between 4am - 7am

Rates of Pay
• £16.90 - £24.90 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
• Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing 5-12 product deliveries to various stores across the UK each day
• Ensuring all loads remain at correct temperature and are safe and secure
• Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into stores
• Completing all necessary paperwork

Essential Skills
• Minimum 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, TT99)
• No major endorsements
• Strong customer service skills

Desirable Experience
• Multi-drop store delivery experience

Training Provided
First-day assessment followed by training as required, plus industry-related training and ongoing support.
