Panel Technician Up to £55,000 per annum

We are recruiting an experienced Panel Technician to join a busy and well-equipped bodyshop in Bedford. This role covers both light and heavy panel work, offering excellent earning potential and long-term stability within a growing accident repair team.

The Role

As a Panel Technician / Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Light and heavy panel repair

• Jig work and welding

• Removing and replacing damaged panels

• Straightening and realigning panels and bodywork

• Repairing structural damage

• Fitting new body panels and components

• Working to manufacturer repair methods

• Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and ATA/BSI standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Panel Technician / Panel Beater

• Strong skills in both light and heavy panel repair

• Experience with jig work, pulling systems, welding, bonding, panel replacement

• ATA accreditation beneficial but not essential

• Ability to work independently and to high quality standards

• Full UK driving licence preferred
