G&A Wallace Engineers Ltd was founded in 2012 and has become one of the leading suppliers of Fullwood JOZ milking and Japy Tech cooling equipment in the UK. Our head office is at Barnard Castle, County Durham and we have a Depot at Warwick Bridge, Cumbria. We install and maintain robotic milking and feeding systems, conventional milking parlours and milk storage tanks along with electrical contracting services all across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria

We are looking to employ a knowledgeable and experienced multi skilled electrician to join our growing team.

Working across the North East, Cumbria and in to North Yorkshire this role is ideally suited to some who likes being out in the countryside and preferably has experience of working on Dairy farms.

We are a small team of eight multi skilled engineers with a great work ethic and team spirit. We have offices at Barnard Castle and Warwick Bridge but as a company we work from door to site with a company van and fuel card being provided.

The role will include carrying out high quality electrical installations along with re-active maintenance and fault finding.

Applicants must have,

-City and Guilds NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent

-Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations

-Electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent

-Full clean driver's license

-Experience with 3phase Installations

-Experience with Motors and control circuits

-Experience with SWA cabling and containment

-Experience in Fault finding and testing

Desirable,

-Experience in working with Drives, VSD and VFDs

-Experience working in dairy engineering or wiring on dairy farms

-Experience in solar PV

This is a permanent full time role consisting of a 40 hour work week with overtime at time and a half and on call paid as a bonus.
