Are you an Architectural Technician with a background using AutoCAD, looking to join a growing and collaborative Planning and Design team working on residential and rural development projects across the Southwest with opportunities to progress?

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an expanding design department within a company who have specialised in estate planning services for over 150 years with over 22 offices across the Southwest. You will be part of a wider Planning Services team with the opportunity to challenge your technical skills and progress with the business towards project management.

In this varied role, you will prepare detailed drawings and design solutions using AutoCAD, assist in developing 3D models and visualisations, undertake on-site surveys, and support design discussions. You will also prepare survey drawings, contribute to project documentation, and help develop schemes in line with client needs and planning requirements.

This role would suit Architectural Technician with a background using AutoCAD, looking to join a growing and collaborative Planning and Design team along with opportunities to grow professionally.

THE ROLE
Produce detailed 2D drawings and develop 3D models
Prepare survey drawings following on-site measured surveys
Use AutoCAD
Support planning documentation and visual presentations using SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
8:45am until 5:30pm with 1 day a week working from home
Based in Exeter, working within the wider South West team

THE PERSON
Architectural Technician
Background in AutoCAD
Knowledge of residential design and planning processes
Full UK driving licence
