About the Role - PKI Architect As a PKI Architect, you will design and implement PKI solutions covering internal and external Certificate Authorities, OCSP, CRLs, and HSM integration. The role involves implementing and maintaining CAs, RAs, key management infrastructure, and supporting secure architectures across hybrid and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with identity, DevOps, and cloud security teams to align PKI with broader security design. You will provide leadership during certificate related incidents, develop documentation, and deliver knowledge transfer to wider teams. What We're Looking For - PKI Architect At least three years of experience in PKI architecture and management. Strong understanding of CAs, HSMs, OCSP, CRLs, SCEP, and related PKI components. Hands on experience with Microsoft ADCS, Thales HSMs, OpenSSL, DigiCert, and similar tools. Knowledge of certificate usage for TLS, S/MIME, code signing, document signing, VPN, and smart cards. Understanding of encryption algorithms, hashing, and key management. Experience designing secure solutions in hybrid or cloud environments such as Azure or AWS. Familiarity with standards including NIST, FIPS, ISO 27001 and other compliance frameworks. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or Microsoft identity qualifications are desirable. Boundary SME Must have an Active DV Clearance An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Boundary SME to join a multi skilled agile team working within a secure Defence and National Security environment. This role offers the chance to design, prototype, and deliver secure boundary solutions across high assurance systems, supporting both legacy and modern technologies. About the Role - Boundary SME As a Boundary SME , you will own the full lifecycle of a work package from design through prototyping, user piloting, and production. You will create proof of concepts, high level design documentation, and ensure traceability against functional and non functional requirements. You will script repeatable unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and support early life activities to ensure smooth adoption into production environments. You will collaborate across engineering and stakeholder groups to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum. What We're Looking For - Boundary SME Strong experience delivering solutions using Agile methodologies . Deep expertise in email and web proxy gateways for high security systems. Strong background in security lockdowns, clamps , and resolving issues arising from secure configurations. Advanced knowledge of Windows administration , Active Directory , PKI , VMware , Windows Server 2022 , gold builds, and system hardening. Experience with PowerShell and Python for automation and test creation. Familiarity with Ansible , Terraform , Nexus configuration repositories, and automated test execution using Robot Framework . Strong problem solving skills with the ability to enable and support engineering teams.
