Forklift Operator (Temp to Perm 12 Weeks)

Location: Redmarley, Gloucestershire
Start Date: January 2026
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Transport: Own transport required

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Redmarley on a 12-week temporary-to-permanent basis. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to support warehouse and production operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock around the warehouse.
• Support goods-in and goods-out operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or issues promptly.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operational flow.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• Day Shift: 5:00am 2:00pm
• Split Shift: 5:00am 10:00am & 3:00pm 7:00pm

(Candidates must be flexible to work either shift pattern as required.)

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Own transport due to rural location (essential)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health & safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
