Job Description
An automotive component manufacturer with sites across Europe require a Dimensional Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract to support the Product Engineering team in developing new components to ensure robust tolerancing protocols. The ideal candidate will hold a degree and experience in GD&T, Measurement and Gauging.

Salary: 57,000 - 59,000 p.a.
Suitable: Dimensional Manager, Dimensional Engineer, GD&T Engineer, Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing Engineer
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Director you will have the following duties:
-Lead dimensional compliance activities for programmes ensuring compliance ahead of the PPAP milestone.
-Carryout DVA analysis and calculations utilising best practice.
-Lead the mark-up of prints for Geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing annotation.
-Provide input to the DFMEA forum, ensuring any significant characteristics are transferred to the measurement plans.
The Person
Educated to Degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline you will have the following experience:
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
-Application of Geometric Dimensional & Tolerancing to standard, measurement and gauging.
-Fully conversant in automotive quality tools and systems.
