You will be taking projects from concept through detailed design, and providing construction support to ensure safe, buildable solutions. Key Responsibilities Deliver civil design for substations (11-132kV), grid connections, OHL interfaces and underground cable routes. Develop drawings, calculations and specifications for: Work closely with electrical, structural and other internal teams to integrate designs. Support design and build delivery by liaising with construction teams, responding to RFIs and closing out design queries. Manage design risks and ensure compliance with safety, quality and technical standards. Attend the Glasgow office and project sites as needed for design reviews and coordination. Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers. Ideal Background & Skills Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 2+ years experience in power, utilities, substations, grid connections or similar infrastructure. Experience in civil design for substation compounds, cable routes, foundations, drainage and access infrastructure. Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office. Civil 3D, Revit or Navisworks experience is beneficial. Strong communication and teamworking skills.
