The tuition provision is in-person as one-to-one sessions. These take place in the learner's home or a venue within the community. SMART Teachers offer an inclusive term-time tuition and mentoring service, providing an alternative education provision supporting children who are temporarily out of mainstream education.

Your role:

As a SEN Tutor you will play a crucial role in delivering a bespoke educational plan in an engaging and meaningful way. Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver KS1-KS3 Maths and English sessions with additional subjects according to your specialism

• Ability to provide a creative learning approach; incorporating a variety of activities based on the learners' interests to aid learning engagement

• Ability to offer support as a mentor with life skills and facilitate preparation for adulthood; college applications, employability.

• Demonstrate confidence and knowledge supporting children with SEND

• Adhere to consistent fixed termly timetables with scheduled lesson times
