Immediate Vacancy: Permanent Class 1 HGV Driver
Salary: 43,000 per annum + Overtime (monthly pay)
Our client, a leading Clinical Waste Disposal company based in Bean, is seeking dedicated and professional Class 1 HGV Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.
230.00 per overtime shift
30 per outbound load paid at end of month
Role Overview:
As a driver, you will be customer-facing and serve as an ambassador for our client. Your main responsibilities will include the collection of clinical waste in a friendly manner and the delivery of relevant stock.
Hospital services predominantly
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and effective communication.
- Handle clinical waste safely and responsibly.
- Load and unload the vehicle efficiently.
Work Schedule:
- Friday - Tuesday, with a start time of 01.30-03.00 a.m.
- 50 hours per week.
- Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter during the week and time and a half on weekends. To qualify for overtime, 50 hours must be completed in the standard five-day week.
Qualifications:
- Full C+E Licence
- Must be over the age of 21.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving record.
- Right to work in the UK.
ADR Certification:
ADR 6 certifications are preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will be required to sign a waiver to cover the cost of the ADR course if you do not already possess it.
