What you will be doing Servicing, maintaining and repairing forestry and plant machinery Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults Attending breakdowns on customer sites and carrying out efficient repairs Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance Preparing new and used machines for sale or hire, including PDI and setup Completing job cards, service reports and parts usage accurately Working safely at all times and following company health and safety procedures The types of kit you will work on Chippers, mulchers, stump grinders, flails and other forestry machinery Excavators and ancillary plant Hydraulic attachments and associated equipment What we are looking for Experience as a Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Fitter or similar Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge Ability to fault find and work through repairs methodically Comfortable working independently on customer sites Full UK driving licence Positive attitude, good communication skills and pride in your workmanship Nice to have (not essential) Experience with forestry or agricultural machinery Relevant qualifications such as NVQ / City & Guilds in Plant, Agricultural, HGV or similar Basic electrical fault finding experience What is on offer Competitive salary depending on experience Overtime opportunities Pension and holidays Ongoing training on specialist equipment Chance to join a growing, well-respected business working with interesting machinery JBRP1_UKTJ

Turner Lovell is currently seeking experienced HV Fitters to join our client's team working on renewable energy projects throughout the UK. These specific roles are based in Newport, Wales and Trowbridge, England with a project duration of approximately 6 months.
