Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to work as a Field Service Mobile Technician covering a regional area , to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site support to our clients, ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Duties Diagnose, repair faults on HGV vehicles Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and efficiently, providing solutions that meet customer needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, installations, and customer interactions. Experience: NVQ, City & Guilds, Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Service and Maintenance, or equivalent, or time served Experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicle body and chassis on RCVs or similar vehicles Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar technical role. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
