This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Secondary Humanities Teacher (Geography Specialist) Chard Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Long-term Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered) Subject: Geography (within Humanities Department) About the school: Supportive and collaborative Humanities department Strong pastoral systems and a focus on student progress Well-resourced classrooms with access to modern teaching tools Leadership that values initiative, creativity and professional growth The role: Teaching Geography across KS3 KS4 (ability to offer another Humanities subject beneficial, but not essential) Full-time preferred, but part-time applications are welcome Long-term placement with ongoing agency support Ideal candidate: Confident delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Geography lessons Strong classroom presence and the ability to inspire learners QTS or similar Passionate about shaping students understanding of the world
