HGV Mechanic
Location: Bracknell
Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

We're looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join a leading commercial vehicle service centre in Bracknell. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped workshop with structured daytime hours and ongoing professional development.

Your Role

• Carry out inspections, servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on HGVs
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with DVSA standards
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation
• Handle wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and general mechanical upkeep
• Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI)
• Proven experience working on HGVs or trailers in a dealership or fleet environment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
• Professional attitude and commitment to high service standards
